5K and 1 Mile Walk

In honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month this April, CFPA is hosting its 8th Annual 5K Run/1 Mile Walk, I Run with Survivors, on Saturday, 4/12, 2025 at 8 am in the Levee District in East Peoria. Participants are welcome to join in person or virtually. Race day activities include photo opportunities and refreshments following the race. CFPA wants all survivors – ones who have come forward to disclose and ones who keep their abuse private – to know that the community supports them, the Center for Prevention of Abuse supports them, and that they are believed. Post a photo in your race shirt, tag us, and use #iRunwithSurvivors to show how you support and believe survivors. All the proceeds from registration go toward providing free and confidential services for survivors of sexual assault at CFPA.
