Event Description:
The Peoria Area Civic Chorale Youth Chorus's spring concert will be held at 3:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church (116 NE Perry Ave.) in Peoria. The concert will feature familiar songs from Film, Broadway and Opera including "Chattanooga Choo Choo" from Sun Valley Serenade (1941), "Pure Imagination" from Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971), "The Wells Fargo Wagon" from The Music Man (1957), and "Papageno's Song" from Mozart's The Magic Flute. The Peoria Area Civic Chorale Preparatory Chorus will sing their own selections as well as join the outstanding Youth Chorus on stage. There will also be appearances from the 2017 PACC Young Artist winners and special guest Kelsey Burd.
