To help empower area youth in the fight against tobacco use, OSF Saint Francis Medical Center is hosting its annual Kick Butts Day. This interactive symposium encourages young people to stand up, speak out, and seize control against tobacco.
Area students from 4th grade through senior year of high school are invited to learn about the effects of smoking, from the inside out, by participating in virtual navigation through the lung and brain, 3-D CAT scans, lung demonstrations, and gaming adventures.
The event is free.
