Peoria Area Military Retiree Appreciation Day

The Itoo Society and its Military Affairs Committee are excited to host the upcoming 2018 Military Retiree Appreciation Day on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at the Itoo Hall from 0715 until 1400. This is an information-packed event bringing resources together to update and inform retired and pre-retiree military members from all branches of service, as well as widow/ers and spouses of retirees in Central Illinois, concerning the availability of entitlements and benefits and to ensure their implementation. It will include presentations about legislation that may impact benefits, along with legal issues and counseling. Services provided include updating administrative records and ID cards, as well as health screenings. In addition, we want to show appreciation to our heroes for their service and give them a chance to mingle and network with other military retirees throughout the day.
