The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) has scheduled an open house public hearing to present the study for the removal and replacement of the eastbound McClugage Bridge (U.S. 150) over the Illinois River. Interested citizens can attend at any time between 5-7 p.m. No formal presentation will be given.
Information about the proposed project will be available and the public is encouraged to submit comments. This meeting will address the need for the project, location of the new bridge, bridge type and potential impacts to the communities and cultural/environmental resources including wetlands and floodplains. The environmental assessment, engineering reports, exhibits, drawings and aerial photos will be available.
