Event Description:
Help us Help Veterans by running in our 5k Run on Monday, Memorial Day. Festivities begin at 7:45 a.m., runners will begin in Lower Glen Oak Park and run through Springdale Cemetery by Soldier's Hill. There will be a $100.00 cash prize for the most patriotic costume, goodie bags for all registered, sunglasses to first 100 registered and an after race food party. Proceeds will be used for home repairs for Tri County Veterans through the Illinois Valley Fuller Center for Housing. National Anthem will be sung by Miss Olivia Vicary.
