Gailey Eye Clinic Welcomes Optometrist, Robert Quilleash

Gailey Eye Clinic is pleased to welcome Optometrist, Robert Quilleash, to their team of physicians. Dr. Quilleash began practicing at Gailey’s offices in Peoria, Pekin and Galesburg, IL in early July.
Dr. Quilleash was born and raised in Sioux City, IA. After graduating from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science degree, he continued his education at Illinois College of Optometry (ICO) and graduated as a Doctor of Optometry in 1999. While attending ICO, Dr. Quilleash received the VSP scholarship for clinical excellence and was one of only two student members on the ethics committee.

Prior to joining Gailey Eye Clinic, Dr. Quilleash worked with cutting edge cataract surgery technology as a Clinical Applications Specialists for Alcon LensX and as a Clinical Affairs Manager for Calhoun Vision overseeing the FDA trial of a new type of cataract surgery implant.
Dr. Quilleash is an active member of the American Optometric Association, the Illinois Optometric Association, Illinois Optometric Association PAC, and American Optometric Association PAC. He has held several leadership roles at the Illinois Optometric Association and was President of the state Association in 2014.
