JA TRIVIA BOWL IS HELPING STUDENTS ANSWER THE BIG QUESTIONS
October 01, 2020
JA is helping students answer the big questions to prepare for a successful future. The JA Trivia Bowl directly supports educational experiences that empower K-12 students in central Illinois with the tools and knowledge to be work and career ready, financially literate, and to think like an entrepreneur. Donors and participants can go online now to bit.ly/jatriviabowl to donate or fundraise. On October 22 at 7pm, the fundraising campaign will culminate in a multi-round trivia extravaganza that players can attend from anywhere!
This new event comes as a socially distant alternative to Junior Achievement’s annual Bowl-a-thon, the organization’s largest peer-to-peer fundraiser in support of local programs. Individuals and companies form teams of up to six players, collect donations for JA, and earn prizes and achievements along the way. Together, players will work toward the goal of raising $25,200 to implement educational experiences in partnership with educators and virtual volunteers. In addition to the many volunteers who sign up to collect donations, JA Trivia Bowl is made possible by PricewaterhouseCoopers, Federal Companies, and Fortress Bank.
Junior Achievement teaches students how to be money smart, work ready, and entrepreneurial. Donate or register teams now to start fundraising for their future. Registration and information are available online at bit.ly/jatriviabowl, by phone at (309) 682-1800, or by email sally.eastman@ja.org.
