Peoria Charter: More Daily Destinations & Lower Prices
Starting October 3, Peoria Charter Coach will now be offering new daily connections in the Chicago Area and deceasing online ticket prices. Peoria Charter will now offer those boarding in Peoria and Normal daily connections to Joliet, Oakbrook Mall, Woodfield Mall and O’Hare Airport. The Midway destination will no longer be available. Passengers will also notice a decrease in online ticket prices as much as $11 roundtrip. All of the new times and prices can be found at www.peoriacharter.com.
New Daily Destinations
Traveler's in the Peoria and Bloomington-Normal Area will now be able to catch daily connections to the Lexington Hotel in Joliet, Oakbrook Mall in Oak Brook, Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, and of course, O’Hare International Airport. The new pick up locations are perfect for travelers looking to go to the Chicago Area for more than just catching a flight. The new stops are located right by popular malls with tons of places to eat and shop.
Discontinued Midway Stop
After reviewing Driver survey results, Peoria Charter made this decision based on the following factors:
1. Low Ridership (Average of only 5 passengers/bus)
2. Travel between O’Hare and Midway could take anywhere between 30 and 90 minutes depending on the day. With a daily schedule, it is difficult to keep on schedule when there is that large of fluctuation in travel time.
Online Ticket Price Decrease
Roundtrip tickets between Normal and Peoria will be just $24 when booking online. (Previously $35)
Roundtrip tickets between Peoria and Joliet / Oakbrook Mall / Woodfield Mall will be $54 when booking online.
Roundtrip tickets between Peoria and O’Hare Airport will be $64 when booking online. (Previously $75)
Roundtrip tickets between Peoria and Joliet / Oakbrook Mall / Woodfield Mall will be $48 when booking online.
Roundtrip tickets between Normal and O’Hare Airport will be $54 when booking online. (Previously $65)
One-way tickets purchased in cash from the driver will continue to be $20 between Peoria and Normal, $40 between Peoria and Chicago stops, and $35 between Normal and Chicago stops.
