UnityPoint Health® - UnityPlace Launches New Behavioral Health Access Center

UnityPoint Health®-UnityPlace launched the new behavioral health access center. The launch of this center has been a priority to improve access to mental health and substance use disorder services for the community. Individuals and families can be connected with the care they need at any time to start their journey of healing and recovery, just by picking up the phone.  

“Since the formation of UnityPlace in April of 2019, we have been working diligently to improve access through provider recruitment, the use of technology and centralized scheduling. During this unexpected time there is an even greater urgency to build access to behavioral health care in the Central Illinois community,” says Keith Knepp, UnityPoint Health Central Illinois CEO. “By establishing our UnityPlace Access Center we are now offering 24/7 access to the help our community needs.”

UnityPlace Access Center is available to provide information on services, schedule an appointment and find help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Individuals and families seeking care can confidently dial 1-888-311-0321 to take the first step to health and wellbeing.
